NuCoPro helps Gradient Labs receive grant from The Technology Collaborative
Pittsburgh - NuCoPro
NuCoPro has been assisting Gradient Labs in getting correctly positioned and securing funding to advance their novel Spatial Computing Framework (SCF). SCF represents the next phase in human-computer interface, where gestures are utilized to go through a virtually infinite three dimensional space. SCF was pioneered by Jason Simmons the CEO and founder of Gradient Labs.
When an opportunity arose to apply for funding through The Technology Collaborative (TTC), NuCoPro arranged numerous presentations of the SCF technology for various members of TTC. The annual TTC grants are awarded based on votes of the member companies, so it is important to build member support of your application.
NuCoPro also assisted in compilation of the grant proposal and arranged for it to be reviewed by other NuCoPro clients who are TTC members, prior to its submission for formal review. The result was TTC awarding an initial grant of $75,000 to Gradient Labs to advance the development of SCF. The grant covers work to be done during the first half of 2009.
